![]() With spot color you want 100% black rather than the mixed rich blacks. Sometimes black is not 100% due to CMYK mixing rich blacks for color profiles. Using curves (or levels) be certain you've got 100% black where you want it. Highlight the yellow channel in the Channels palette by clicking it once in the Channels palette.
